In a written statement, Somalia’s federal government has condemned that Ethiopian troops took part in today’s fighting against Somalia’s federal government bases in southwestern Somali bordering town of Dolow in Gedo Region of Jubbaland state administration on 23 December 2024.
The statement said that the move violated recent agreements between Somalia’s federal government President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Amed in Ankara, Turkey to end the diplomatic disputed between the two countries.
The attack reportedly inflected casualties on Somalia’s federal government forces in the town today. below is the statement.
