The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has received a delegation from the Republic of Türkiye, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Prof. Burhanettin Duran at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu, capital city of Somalia on 10 February 2025.
They discussed heightening the strong and enduring ties between Somalia and Türkiye.
The meeting also focused on enhancing strategic cooperation across key areas. President Hassan Sheikh expressed deep appreciation for Türkiye’s continued assistance and commitment to Somalia’s progress and stability, underscoring the historic and brotherly tie between the two nations.
