Officials of Somalia’s federal government and Tanzanian government including ministers signed key agreements today 19 December 2024 in Mogadishu, capital city of Somalia, privately-owned website of Wargeyska.net reported.
The move came following function was held in the town, Salah Ahmed Jama, the first deputy of the federal government prime minister chaired the meeting, added the website.
“The agreements said were memorandum of understandings, which presented and showed the historic and longstanding diplomatic ties between the two countries”. Said the website.
The memorandum of understandings said addressed several sectors including health, foreign affairs, tourism developments, education and defense issues which was significant for the two countries and the nations of the region.
